Plantar Fibromas (lumps in the arch of the foot)

Plantar Fibromas are benign lumps that occur in the arch of the foot in the plantar fascia. If small and non painful, nothing needs to be done. However, if they enlarge they can press on nerves and become quite painful. If that were the case they should be removed before they become significantly larger, which would make their removal more difficult.
